Prepare legal documents to assist individuals with legal name changes in a clinic setting. Virtual and in-person clinics are offered at pre-scheduled times throughout the year. No court appearances.

Training materials are sent via email, one week prior to the clinic. Training includes a video, forms, and guide to assisting clients at the clinic.

Draft court forms for Nebraskans seeking to set aside eligible criminal convictions or seal eligible criminal records. Virtual and in-person clinics are offered. No court appearances.
SIMPLE WILLS & POWER OF ATTORNEY PROJECT

Volunteer attorneys provide brief legal services to seniors in need of simple wills and durable powers of attorney.
TAX RELIEF PROJECT

Our Low Income Taxpayer Clinic assists individuals with a variety of IRS tax matters and related Nebraska state tax issues. Legal Aid needs help from tax attorneys, CPAs, and other tax professionals. To learn more, contact Shirley Peng, speng@legalaidofnebraska.org.
