Juvenile Justice

A young man faces a panel.

The Juvenile Justice Project provides attorneys to serve as Guardians Ad Litem, or counsel, to parents and children in law violation cases, abuse/neglect cases, and truancy cases.

If you are involved in the Juvenile Court System in Lancaster County and unable to afford an attorney, you can complete a “Request For Court-Appointed Counsel” form with the staff at the Juvenile Court.

Legal Aid has a contract with Lancaster County to provide legal representation to parties in the Separate Juvenile Court of Lancaster County, this project has been serving Lancaster County for more than three decades.
